The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regards to the high quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services stage created for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, status sassa which makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
